Previous message.....10.30am 19th March

School will remain open to all year groups on 20th March. All previous communication in regards to self isolating remains in place.

The SCHOOL WILL CLOSE to all students after FRIDAY 20th MARCH with some exceptions. Please see my urgent letter to parents in the letter to parent/carers section for more information which i sent yesterday.

As I type this message we are still waiting for the Government's list of jobs that fall into the Key Worker List that was supposed to be provided today. Can all parents whose occupation falls into these categories please notify us soon as possible if they wish their child/children to attend school from Monday. Understandably I am aware that many parents are waiting to see this list as it is not as simplistic as being an NHS worker, Police, delivery driver etc.  Please email post@wexham.slough.sch.uk or telephone the school in the morning to let us know.

All students in Years 7 - 10 that attended school today have received some learning packs to complete at home next week. We will begin to post and/or deliver to those students who have not received this as soon as possible. In the meantime student should check and work on tasks through 'Show My Homework'.

We have been made aware there will be an announcement tomorrow on how Year 11 and 13 students will be assessed in the absence of examinations. I will inform you of this as soon as possible.

Previous message.....10.30am 19th March

At the present time the School is open to all year groups. We are not running Year 12 and 13 lessons but have meet with those that are in school and they are absorbing the impact this has on them and assisting us. They are welcome to stay all day and tomorrow.

We are running assemblies today for the 300+ students that are in school. We are distributing work packs today to those children on site and will post/deliver the rest as soon as we can. All parents by now should have received Show My Homework login reminders in the post.

The school will be open for all students tomorrow as long as staffing levels permit and following all the advice and guidance on my previous letters.

The SCHOOL WILL CLOSE to all students after FRIDAY 20th MARCH with some exceptions. Please see my urgent letter to parents in the letter to parent/carers section for more information.

I will write again as soon as we have further clarification from the Department for Education on a number of factors.
