As part of their GCSE course Year 11 pupils are required to review a play so off we went to see a brand new adaptation of Mary Shelley’s gothic horror masterpiece Frankenstein. The production fused ensemble storytelling, live music, puppetry and stunning theatricality.  The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the evening which gave them plenty to write about from inventive use of a small stage space to the gruesome puppet monster that came alive before our eyes.
