On Tuesday 13th May, we had the pleasure of Amar Sangha of Diverse Futures visiting us to give an inspiring TED talk to our Year 12 students. This focused on apprenticeships with major blue-chip companies accessible only to students from state schools. The key indicators for successful entry are based upon character, attitude and aptitude for learning, not just grades! Diverse Future will prepare the students for their applications and interviews. The companies include Virgin Group, Jellyfish, Omnicom Media Group, 2 Heads, Mazda and Jaguar Land Rover to name but a few.
