On Tuesday 21st April, the girls from our year 9 cohort had the opportunity to participate in the Tata Steel Masterclass. Where they met leading industry figures in UK steel production and explored important topics such as global warming, climate change, renewable energy and recycling. This session was to help them understand real world environmental challenges and the role science plays in creating sustainable solutions. The girls participated enthusiastically in discussion and activities, showing curiosity and engagement throughout the online workshop.
