On Wednesday 16th September, our Year 7 students were inspired by a thought-provoking TED Talk delivered by Colonel Shaun Lamb of UK Space Command. Drawing on his extensive leadership experience in one of the UK's most advanced and innovative military organisations, Colonel Lamb shared powerful insights into the importance of resilience, determination and self-belief.

Students were encouraged to think big, embrace challenges and develop a growth mindset as they reflected on their own aspirations and future ambitions. Through real-life examples from his career, Colonel Lamb demonstrated how perseverance, adaptability and teamwork can help individuals overcome obstacles and achieve success. The session captivated students and provided a valuable opportunity to explore the qualities of effective leadership, making a significant contribution to Wexham School's character education programme and inspiring our young people to reach for the stars, both literally and figuratively. The Q&A which followed with our students was a revelation.
