During the week of Monday 7th November, our students in the Sixth Form took part in training that covered three different modules by the SSAT - (School Students and Teachers network). 

Module 1

Student Leadership Skills (All Students leaders, chair of school council and future leaders attended) This module provides a solid grounding in leadership theory and practical application.

Module 2

Students as Learning Partners. SaLP is a module where students are taught to become observers in their lesson, observing improves their learning and helps them know where key learning points are within the lesson. 

Module 3

Peer Mentors. The students gained effective mentoring skills, grew in confidence.
