On Thursday 27th April Year 10 enjoyed an innovative production of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ by the Young Shakespeare Company.  Transporting the famous love story into a modern school setting, the Company showed our students how characters can be interpreted in very different ways by actors off the page.  The performance helped students to understand and interpret the play which is one of their key examination texts for their GCSE English Literature qualification.  It was wonderful to see so many of them mouthing the words to the most pivotal scenes as the actors brought them to life.
