Wexham School is a friendly and vibrant school with a highly committed staff who want the best for all our students ensuring they are ambitious and hungry for future truimph. We, as a school community, have developed a “can do” attitude through collaboration and effective partnerships. We are currently a smaller-than-average, non-selective secondary school with a Sixth Form, situated in a grammar school area. In 2018 the school will expand from 5.5 forms of entry each year to 8. We are a good school where students make good progress.

School Games Organiser - Start – As soon as possible

  • Salary: Slough Scale Point Level 6
  • Actual Salary: £27,713 - £31,676
  • 37 hours per week, full time
  • Fixed term contract until July 2019

The Slough School Sports Network (SSSN) (hosted by Wexham School) is a highly successful and well established organisation that has been supporting schools since 2011. We have a wide range of dedicated sponsors and partnerships that assist in providing sporting events and competitions to over 40 primary and secondary schools enabling us to provide opportunities and activities to thousands of children and young adults.

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate an excellent understanding of schools, the Government’s agenda for sport and competition (School Games) along with a clear vision and commitment to increasing opportunities for all young people. The post holder will also need to have a proven track record of delivering high quality events and competitions. This is an exciting and far reaching post which allows you to work with many different people, young and old and it a wide variety of locations.

The aim of the Slough School Sport Network is to increase participation and widen access in school sport at all levels and to provide all young people in Slough schools with a positive experience of physical activity in any setting. As such we also provide continual professional development, engagement programmes and leadership opportunities for school staff and our young sports leaders

Finance Officer - Start - As soon as possible

  • Salary: Level 5, Scale Point 23-29 £22159 - £26842
  • inc. London Fringe Allowance
  • 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
